Information on venues


SWAET 2012 will take place at a few different locations in Stockholm. On the following page we have information on the different venues and how to get there.

Full program available


The full program is now available. The workshop will include 25 talks and 11 poster presentations on a range of subjects related to using eye movement tracking as a measurement tool. This year's main themes concern eye tracking methodology and how eye tracking can be used to learn about language and learning, perception and cognition, visual search in decision making, and viewing behaviours when interpreting medical images.

Thanks all of you who have submitted contributions to SWAET 2012. We can look forward to a really interesting workshop! Now, we are working on the program and will try to get a full version up on the web as soon as possible. We will also get some more information on the venues up as soon as we can.

The deadline has passed. If you have been promised an extension to the deadline, or want to be considered for any late openings, the form is still available at the following location.

Submissions welcome


We welcome extended abstracts (ca 500 words) on all topics related to using eye tracking as a measurement tool. A contribution may be presented orally or as a poster.

Submit your contribution no later than March 30th.

Program available


The program for SWAET 2012 is now available as well as keynote talk abstracts.

The workshop starts Wednesday afternoon with the traditional eye tracking methods lecture by Kenneth Holmqvist. This is followed by a get-together party at the Bernadotte laboratories. The plenar sessions will be held at Karolinska Institutet on Thursday and Friday. Oral presentations are 20 minutes including time for questions. Ample time is set aside for discussions and opportunities to collaboration.

SWAET 2012 announced


The Scandinavian Workshop on Applied Eye Tracking (SWAET) is an interdisciplinary meeting place for graduate students, researchers, industry, and other people using eye tracking as a measurement tool. The 6th SWAET will be held at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm on May 2-4, 2012.
